Maryland’s First Terra Gaucha Brazilian Steakhouse Aims to Open By End of Year

Terra Gaucha Brazilian Steakhouse, known for its authentic Southern Brazilian churrasco experience, is preparing to open soon in Rockville’s Twinbrook Quarter development, with the restaurant aiming to welcome guests by the end of the year.

At Terra Gaucha, gaucho chefs roast and carve wood-fired picanha, ribeye, and other premium cuts of meat tableside, offering a true rodízio-style dining experience. Guests can complement the continuous tableside service with offerings from the restaurant’s Gourmet Hot & Cold Table, which features an extensive selection of salads, cheeses, charcuterie, Brazilian sides, and desserts such as the restaurant’s signature Papaya Cream.

Founded in Florida in 2015, Terra Gaucha is a Brazilian-owned steakhouse brand celebrated for its emphasis on quality, hospitality, and authenticity. Its Maryland debut in Rockville will mark the restaurant’s first location in the DC region.

The restaurant joins several other highly anticipated tenants at Twinbrook Quarter, the mixed-use development near the Twinbrook Metro that includes Wegmans and other upcoming dining destinations.
