Terra Gaucha Brazilian Steakhouse Donates 300 Meals on Christmas Eve

Terra Gaucha donated 300 hot meals on Christmas Eve. The meals included signature Gaucho-seasoned grilled meats and were delivered to Rockville police and fire stations, as well as to neighbors in need via Shepherd’s Table.

Terra Gaucha Brazilian Steakhouse, a rapidly expanding authentic churrasco-style restaurant, whose newest location in Rockville opened for business on Sunday, partnered with Shepherd’s Table to distribute the hot meals.  Shepherd’s Table serves individuals from all walks of life who are experiencing food insecurity and homelessness. Terra Gaucha also delivered hot meals to Rockville first responders working on Christmas Eve.

Terra Gaucha was forced to delay the opening after a large competitor initiated a legal process to prevent Terra Gaucha from opening in Rockville. While Terra Gaucha has prevailed and opened on Sunday, the team acted swiftly to turn the setback into community support and to prevent thousands of dollars of potential food waste.

Meals were delivered to Shepherd’s Table on Christmas Eve at 3 p.m.
